Samsung LCD Televisions
It was my 22nd birthday then. I just graduated from college with a degree in Communications and a minor in Film Production. I wanted so much to be independent, so I asked my industrialist father to let me occupy one of our apartments in Lower Manhattan. It was a small but cozy split-level apartment – just right for a single girl like me.
And with it came my 36 inch Samsung LCD television!
I have always been a film buff every since I started watching films at age 6 years old. My father was into film production then, so I kinda followed on his footsteps. I had always raved about all these large-format flat panel LCD televisions with an even enhanced version of Dolby 5.1 Sensurround audio features. They make you feel as if you are in your very own home theater.
So my dad bought me this nifty looking 36 inch Samsung LCD television. It was just awesome! What I like most about Samsung LCD televisions is that aside from the high-tech feature, they are so downright functional. I had my Samsung LCD television mounted on the wall opposite my living room couch, and because space was rather limited in my cozy apartment, this was the best way to see my television without it getting in the way of any of my furniture.

The great thing about my Samsung LCD television is that aside from it being a space saver, it also has the features of a high definition television (HDTV). Which means that its picture resolution is no lower than 1280x720 pixels. I have cable at home too – I can’t survive without it – so I can always download HDTV programming content on HBO, Discovery, TNT, ESPN and Fox Sports.
Aside from excellent picture quality with my Samsung LCD television, you never experience the “burn-in” effects that sometimes you experience with plasma based television. So I’m not worried when sometimes I fall asleep on the couch while watching television.
Lastly, it comes with 2 10-watt built-in speakers, aside from my already existing sensurround speakers that my daddy gave me. I can’t wait to watch my next movie – Pirates of the Caribbean – in sensurround!
